Portal Voice and Data Limited is a leading supplier of next generation voice and data products and services. They offer a full portfolio of branded products to companies throughout the UK. Aurora has worked with Portal for over 10 years now providing a complete billing solution.


Portal has a diverse product range and is continually evolving and growing.

Portal commissioned Affinity to provide an entire software billing solution which would give a holistic view of the billing lifecycle to the many products they were wishing to sell. As Portal’s business grew disparate software solutions were making it increasingly hard for management to interpret separate departmental and software data.

Of particular interest to Portal was to find a single solution for all their billing requirements as they had multiple products being invoiced multiple ways including; monthly bill runs for lines and calls, annual maintenance contracts, one off and monthly data products plus ad-hoc labour and hardware. This was of course a burden on resources and often caused discrepancies throughout the billing process.


Affinity is a powerful, modular billing software solution that enables our customers to run their entire reseller operation through it. Portal saw the value of consolidating all of their billing operations into the Affinity platform. Affinity modules include Affinity Sales, Affinity Fulfilment, Affinity Billing, Affinity Finance, Affinity Online and Affinity Service.
